In New York, every season feels like its own special chapter, and the city transforms in such unique ways throughout the year. For me, fall kicks off a huge party season, with my daughter’s birthday in October and my son’s birthday in mid-January—marking the start and end of a season packed with celebrations. It’s also my busiest time of year as a photographer, with all the festivities and events. Summer brings the heat, with music festivals in Central Park and Brooklyn, and trips upstate or down to the beach. Winter is cozy with trips to museums and hot chocolate. But then comes spring… Oh, spring is my absolute favorite! It’s when flowers start to bloom, and my heart starts to expand with the beauty of it all. And those two magical weeks of cherry blossoms in New York—nothing compares. The city becomes even more beautiful during that time, and I can’t help but fall in love with it all over again.
This season is truly magical, and it’s one of my favorite times to capture family moments. Imagine spending a weekend in New York, hopping from one spot to another, taking in the beauty of the cherry blossoms along the way. Fort Greene Park
The entrance by Willoughby Street is where you’ll find some stunning cherry blossoms. Keep walking on Willoughby to Clinton Ave, and you will find the most amazing residential street full of trees.

If you’re up for a bit of an adventure and want to make a whole day of it, the NYC Botanical Garden in the Bronx is a must-see. This place feels like a hidden gem, and the cherry blossoms here are absolutely stunning. The grounds are vast, with so many varieties of cherry trees scattered throughout the gardens.
