Your Questions Answered

We primarily work in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, but we do travel for the right projects. If you’re in other boroughs or outside NYC and want to work together, reach out. Let’s talk about what’s possible.

For family photography sessions in Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Queens, we recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead, especially for fall (our busiest season). For maternity photography, we love photographing between 28-32 weeks, that sweet spot where you’re showing beautifully but still comfortable. Newborn photography sessions work best anytime in baby’s first couple of months, so reach out as soon as they arrive and we’ll find a time that works for your new family rhythm. If you need something sooner, contact us, weekdays tend to have more flexibility for last-minute sessions. Sessions outside of the city can require more planning with our photographers, so reach out as soon as you’re able to ensure we can schedule your preferred time.

One hour for family sessions. That’s enough time to get natural moments without exhausting everyone (especially the little ones). Maternity and newborn sessions work a bit differently, we’ll walk you through timing when we plan together.

No, we love to have grandparents join us and we don’t charge extra for it. We also love doing shoots with extended family. Cousins playing together can be lots of fun. For these larger groups, we do charge an extra fee. Hit us up and we can discuss what you’re looking for.

Yes! We love photographing birthday parties and special celebrations. We’ve also worked with lots of NYC family-oriented brands to help them tell their story. If it’s something outside our wheelhouse, we can always recommend other photographers. Reach out and tell us what you have in mind.

We’ve been photographing NYC kids for 15+ years. We know how to work with chaos. If your kid wants to run, we run with them. If they’re shy, we give them space. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s capturing your real family. Trust us, we’ve got this.

Life happens. If the weather’s bad or someone’s not feeling well, we’ll reschedule. No stress, no penalty. We’d rather wait for a day when everyone feels good and the light is right.

In 15+ years, this hasn’t happened, but if you’re genuinely unhappy with your gallery, we’ll talk through it and figure out how to make it right. Your satisfaction matters to us.
