Six years of photographing this mom and her boy, and every session brings something new. We’ve explored some great spots, and this time, we met early in the quiet street of Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. Close to DUMBO but tucked away from the crowds, Vinegar Hill has its own unique vibe with textured walls, vintage facades, and hidden corners. It’s a place I always love coming back to for its character and charm.
What stands out in this session is the easy, genuine connection between them—the shared laughs, the little moments that tell their story. For us, it’s all about making the shoot feel relaxed and capturing those real, unplanned interactions.
After the session, there’s the option to enjoy a meal at the beautiful restaurant Vinegar Hill House or grab a coffee at Gitane, a laid-back café perfect for unwinding after the shoot.
