From France to Brooklyn: A Colorful Bushwick Maternity Session

When this stylish European couple moved from France to Brooklyn, they reached out looking for a different kind of maternity session for their first baby. We brainstormed, talked about their style, and decided that the vibrant streets of Bushwick were the perfect match. They wanted a location that reflected their adventurous spirit and love for color—and Bushwick delivered!

With bold graffiti, bright blue skies, and so much laughter, this session was all about celebrating their new chapter in New York City. From the very first shot, it was clear that we were going to have an amazing time. And, as it turns out, this wasn’t just the start of a photo journey—it was the beginning of a long friendship.

After their maternity session, we photographed their newborn, later their second baby, and over the years, we became close friends—even traveling to Portugal together! Our kids are the same age and are now great friends, too. It’s incredible how photography can bring people together in unexpected and beautiful ways.
