This family visited Manhattan for a week and wanted to capture a cool memory of their trip, so they reached out to us for a fun and relaxed NYC family vacation photo session. They stayed at The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District, making it the perfect starting point for their photo shoot. The neighborhood’s vibrant energy and iconic landmarks, like the High Line NYC, offered a mix of history and art—perfect for a family session in New York.
We kicked off the session at the hotel entrance and explored the surrounding neighborhood, stopping at cool spots along the way. The wide cobblestone streets perfectly capture the New York City vibe, loved by both locals and visitors. Meatpacking District’s blend of old-world charm and modern urban life creates a one-of-a-kind backdrop for family photos in NYC.
As we made our way toward the High Line, you could see how much this family enjoyed each other’s company. It’s always a joy to photograph families when they’re relaxed and having fun, and this session was no exception. We loved how the teenagers were genuinely having a blast with their parents—no forced smiles, just real family moments.
One of the highlights of the day was the graffiti. The boys were fascinated by the street art, and if they could, they would’ve taken it all back to California! The Meatpacking District’s art scene is constantly evolving, giving families a taste of New York’s urban creativity.
The High Line Park also changes its art installations regularly, adding something fresh for every visit, making it a top spot for both visitors and locals.
