Maternity Session in Nolita, NYC

One of the best parts of being family photographers is documenting the same families year after year. Watching their stories unfold through our cameras feels like creating a living, breathing family journal—one that grows alongside them.

We first met this mom during her maternity session in New York City for her first baby (you can see those gorgeous moments in this blog post!). From there, we captured their newborn session, then their wedding, followed by another round of maternity and newborn photos when baby number two arrived.

Since they’re true downtown New Yorkers, it made sense to keep their sessions close to home. We explored the vibrant streets of Nolita, found hidden gems like Freeman’s Alley, and made the most of the colorful city backdrop. We wrapped up the session in the best way possible—with drinks at a bar (just for Dad and me 😉).

Now, their home is filled with our photos—a visual timeline of their journey. And we’re still capturing their magic each year through mini holiday sessions. It’s an honor to document their family as it grows, one milestone at a time.
